IN THE WEST OF VICTORIA

The Hermitage was founded in the early 1850’s, originally a mixed farm with sheep, cattle and cropping, it also included a market garden supplying the Ballarat goldfields with fruit, vegetables and wine.

Purchased by our family in 2011, our focus is on re-vegetation with over 30% of the farm dedicated to land-care projects and restoring vegetation to the nearly 4km of Barwon River frontage.
